Under the premise that today’s automotive business demands the ability to anticipate in order to compete, we took part in the opening session of the ACARA 2026 Regional Conventions (Argentina’s Association of Automotive Dealers). The event, held last Tuesday, March 31 at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel, marked the beginning of a key cycle for the industry.
The convention opened with the traditional executive panel, a strategic space to understand current market challenges. Dealership owners gathered alongside a distinguished delegation from the Latin American Association of Automotive Distributors (ALADDA).
The event was structured around working sessions that addressed the dealership’s main pain points—from the economic landscape and new regulatory and tax frameworks to the behavior of the “Customer 4.0.”
There was also a dedicated space for the motorcycle market and aftersales, where specialists and industry leaders shared their perspectives on the competitive landscape ahead. Overall, it was a day designed to bring complex topics—such as innovation and team motivation—down to a practical level.
Institutional Presence and a Forward-Looking Vision
Our delegation was led by the DMS consulting team, alongside Alfredo McClymont, CEO of the company, who reaffirmed our commitment to developing solutions that drive dealership profitability in an ever-changing environment.
The Impact of AI
We observed a strong interest in finding solutions that can take over the “heavy lifting,” and we believe the answer lies in AI-powered assistants.
In every conversation, we explored how Analytics helps interpret real business data without complexity, and how AI agents are now handling support tasks that previously consumed significant time from human teams. The most valuable takeaway was seeing the reaction of those who interacted with tools that are already ready to be implemented.
Today, technology is measured by its immediate usefulness in day-to-day operations.
An Industry Looking Ahead
The event made it clear that digitalization and aftersales efficiency are central to maintaining competitiveness. For us, being part of these nationwide events driven by ACARA is the best way to continue hearing firsthand about our customers’ challenges and to keep evolving our solutions.
We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by to connect and share their perspective on the future of the business.
See you at the next convention!
