Where We’re Headed

A critical part of Autologica’s job is keeping an eye on trends in the #software industry and their intersection with the needs of the #vehicle dealerships we serve. This analysis inspired us to develop a medium and long-term plan, a broad and ambitious project that redefines what a DMS is, how it’s used, and how it interacts with the world.

A critical part of Autologica’s job is keeping an eye on trends in the software industry and their intersection with the needs of the #vehicle dealerships we serve.

This analysis inspired us to develop a medium and long-term plan, a broad and ambitious project that redefines what a DMS is, how it’s used, and how it interacts with the world.

We’re already launching the first tangible products and services of this project.

Our plan focuses on 3 major issues:

Web-Based DMS

We’re transitioning to a web and cloud-based DMS that will be accessible from any device. We’re developing it from scratch with cutting edge technology, thoughtfully designed to gradually replace our classic DMS without impacting customers. Both the old and the new DMS use the same database, making the transition painless.

Integrability

No software company can do it all. Dealers want to use best-of-breed software in multiple segments (Salesforce, SAP, Mailchimp, MercadoLibre, etc.), and need all their systems to interact. Our new web-based DMS is developed using REST API technology to be highly integratable, so that third parties can develop integrations with our DMS.

Data

The DMS generates a huge amount of data that dealership managers can leverage to make better decisions. We recently launched our Business Intelligence application and have an expert BI team dedicated to continually expanding it based on dealers’ needs.

Our vision is to provide a DMS that is a cloud-based software platform, created with the latest technology based on the needs of dealership users and managers. The journey has begun!

Two computers and a mobile with the Autologica web aplications that are part of a broad project. The software that is used is designed for the automotive industry.
