The Most Celebrated Highlights 

Autologica Analytics: The Evolution of Autologica Sky DMS 

The new version of Autologica Sky DMS introduces integrated analytics, designed specifically for dealership managers and principals. These dashboards, accessible via browsers and smartphones, display key metrics designed for decision-making. 

Some of the standout dashboards launched this year include: 

  • Daily and monthly dashboards for principals and CEOs, offering a comprehensive view of the dealership’s overall health. 
  • Department-specific dashboards for managers, showcasing the most relevant KPIs for their departments. 
  • Budget execution and control. 
  • Analysis of immobilized inventory by department, branch, and warehouse. 

What’s coming in 2025

  • Creators: build custom dashboards using data sets from Autologica Sky DMS. 
  • Leaderboards: rank dealerships or branches based on specific indicators and parameters.

Global Receipt, a Single Receipt for All Payments 

This feature allows dealerships to issue a single receipt or payment order for a customer’s total balance across multiple account types (e.g., parts, services, vehicles). 

This contributes significantly to reducing administrative tasks by automating the creation of a single receipt. 

  • One receipt to cancel customer balance  
  • Significantly reduce processing time  
  • Offset positive and negative balances across various account types  
  • Reassign positive balances to other accounts  
  • Generate customer payment orders when there is a balance in their favor 

Improvements in Dual-Currency Accounting and Multi-Currency Cashiers and Banks 

Autologica Sky DMS simultaneously manages transactions in two currencies, ensuring real-time, automatic accounting updates for every department. Transactions are recorded in the local currency and converted to a secondary currency. You can also use model entries to simplify tasks. 

Additionally, payments can be processed using cash, checks, credit cards, or transfers in various currencies, such as local currency, euros, or dollars. The cashier can accept multiple currencies within the same receipt, and bank accounts can be managed in different currencies. 

Recent updates have improved accessibility, usability, and reporting capabilities for these features. 

Electronic Invoicing for More Countries 

To help dealerships comply with local tax regulations, Autologica expanded its electronic invoicing capabilities to dealerships in the Dominican Republic and Paraguay, adding to previous implementations in Argentina, Bolivia, and Uruguay. 

Maintain Discounts and Surcharges When Converting Vouchers 

This user-requested feature ensures that when converting a quote into an invoice, the original discounts and markups are retained while parts are updated to current list prices. 

This feature applies to documents moving through the stages of “To Satisfy,” “To Deliver,” and “To Invoice” within Autologica Sky DMS. 

Recurring Billing (Subscriptions) 

This feature of Autologica Sky DMS is designed for dealerships that invoice services to their customers (satellite services, for example) or in cases where the same sales occur every month, saving time in generating invoices.   

The feature also allows quick identification of customers with recurring billing, even if they are receiving a 100% discount.  

Link a License Plate to a Customer and/or a Vehicle 

Autologica Sky DMS now allows assigning a license plate to either a vehicle or a person, adapting to the requirements of each country. Previously, the system only linked license plates to vehicles, but this enhancement enables plates to be associated with individuals as well. This way, when a customer sells a vehicle and purchases another, the plate is unlinked from the previous vehicle and transferred to the newly acquired one. All changes are recorded in the Autologica Sky DMS history, ensuring full traceability. 

OEM Interfaces 

This year brought several updates to Autologica Sky DMS’s OEM integrations: 

Agco 

  • Adjustments to price lists from ARS to USD. 

Case New Holland 

  • Updates to the PRIM interface to display foreign currency amounts. 

John Deere 

  • Enhancements to the DPM interface for new sales processes. 
  • Updates to the Seedz interface for workshop parts sales reporting. 

Toyota 

  • Improvements to the spare parts sales DJ interface. 
  • Salesforce’s Service Appointment integration (SeApp). 
  • Incorporation of the FIR program in CIM interfaces. 

Volkswagen 

  • Greater flexibility in the Autopart interface to report wholesale sales and warranty/courtesy work.

In 2025, Autologica will continue hosting webinars on best practices, tips, and strategies for dealership departments. Kicking off in January, the first session will cover data-driven routines and key performance indicators to track throughout the year.
